| James,
Didn't mean to fire you up. Last I checked you had MANY cymbals that offer the same qualities.
You should at least check out the K Constantinoples if you haven't. If you like them that much I'm sure you have some redundant cymbals that might help you fund it. If they offer nothing that you don't already have you also solve the problem. Gene | | Message posted 208 days ago | IP Logged |

| Gene,
I got to play some K Cons a few years ago (at least, I think they were K Cons) - I did a percussion clinic at a "day of percussion," and one of the other clinicians was gracious enough to let me use his kit during my clinic. Lovely cymbals, that's for sure - and I felt very much at home playing them, which is my biggest concern when it comes to selecting and using a given instrument. | | Message posted 207 days ago | IP Logged |

| I'm pretty happy with my cymbal options. For some reason I seem to be going all K Zildjian. Never decided to do that, just seems that they hit the sweet spot for me. I'm always checking out everything but some kind of gravity kicks in.
I still have a very old 20" A Ride, an Istanbul 18" Crash, a Paiste 16" 2002 Crash, 14" New Beat Hi Hats, and a Sabian HH CLassic ride. Everything else is from one of the K lines. Gene | | Message posted 204 days ago | IP Logged |

| ...as a matter of fact I used them with a classic rock band this week. They sounded amazing.
HOWEVER, this band plays at fairly reasonable volume. Gene | | Message posted 186 days ago | IP Logged |
