Posting because it's a slow day... Err...

Thought I'd share a quick sound file I put together with a couple of recent cymbal acquisitions. I wanted to hear how my '70s New Beats fit in with the older A Zildjians rides I recently bought. The playing ain't great by any stretch of the imagination - OK, the playing sucks - but I'm thinking this setup has some potential for acoustic jazz gigs.

The 22" hollow block is the one I posted about previously in the "Today's gamble on the 'Used Cymbal' rack" thread; I've since added three rivets.

I found a 30" 1970 Zildjian last week. I can't get it till this Thursday short on the cash. It is almost perfect, I mean like new. Has the Ziljian engrave from that era. Nice, Hope they still have it I can't wait to added it to my equipment.

I gave up on finding a Stewart Drum Kit.
Came across a Black Orange County & Percussion set (New in Box). 6 piece Avalon with hardware and extra 2 ply heads for all drums with a three year accident replacement coverage.
Now I can leave the vintage set at home, it was starting to show ware.
