| | OK Ive posted on this before as well. I love my in ear monitors. I use the Shure PSM-4 system. it has a 4 channel mixer which allows you to monitor up to 4 inputs of your choice and control the volume of these inputs before it goes to the soundboard. (and you can adjust it all you want without effecting the soundmans signal, as the input is straight thru). I monitor my vocal, my kick, and my toms, with the first 3 channels, and the ambient sounds of cymbals and hats get picked up by my vocal mic, so I inadvertantly get those that way. In the 4th channel I have the soundman send me a mix of whatever I want from him, so I get a little of everyone, and I mix those volumes in my ear, and I get a great great experience, with a huge bonus, my ears dont ring at the end of the gig. I basically purchased them at first because of the limited stage room at most of the rooms. I also have had my ears molded so that the earphones fit to my ears. which basically filters out all outer noise. The downside in my experience is that communicating is hard on stage when you cant hear someone speaking to you if they dont have thier face in a mic. Overall I would recommend them to anyone. | | Message posted 2394 days ago | IP Logged |

NAh Ive never had feedback thru them, I dont think its impossible, but Its never happened to me. Yes I have the wireless version, because I do go out and front the band a few times per night. | | Message posted 2394 days ago | IP Logged |
