This is about the third time this kits been listed. The seller seems to be coming to grips with the fact that a re-wrap doesn't bring high dollar virgin prices. Compared to the first listing the price is more realistic.

Theres one of the newer Imperialstars on Ebay here - nothing exciting except its one with the 18" kick drum.
I love 18" kick drums for some reason and I want it - its only $500

Billy,

Those purple rewrapped vintage Slingerlands are cool, but I still think he is optimistic as far as the price goes.

I think he might be able to get $1500-$1800 for them. (Maybe.)

If they were wrapped in white pearl they would have sold already. You don't wrap Radio Kings with non-period colors.

That was my feelings exactly.

If you aren't going to go with a period finish, why even bother with any marine pearl? They might as well be a tangerine sparkle fade...

There was a 1950's Slingerland kit a while back that had a similar issue. Someone recovered them in a bright green sparkle that said 1970s all over it. (They might as well have thrown in a lava lamp with it.)
