This guy seems to be trying to promote the idea that old = vintage = rare treasure. Sometimes old is just old; there's a reason why some things are no longer made the way they used to be. I have no problem with what people on this forum would legitimately recognize as vintage, but this guy seems to be mostly exploitation and hype.

A great deal on a set, and a reason to go to Miami.

It would really sound like a good deal in February.

At $100 with shipping, it's almost worth buying just to see what it sounds like...

This is starting to tick me off.

I really want one of these.

When I have the money in hand, I haven't been able to find one.

Right now, I don't have $750 to spend on drum gear and here is a nice example.

Titanium is a great metal for weight and strength but it's not that attractive IMO.

I played one of these in Pittsburgh at "Drumworld" last October. I don't think the shell is particularly attractive or ugly, but man did it play nice. In some ways it is sort of like the ultimate Supraphonic.

I do lovr their badge, very classy and Rogers like.

I collect my drums to play. Having said that, in ten to twenty years I think these will be looked at like Radio Kings are now.

And I know he hasn't made a ton of them.

I'm not a huge fan of "free floating" snares in general, but I am interested in "Legend" snares.

This one is local, so I made go play it for the hell of it.

This is the shop I bought the vintage Gretsch kit from last year.

True.

The Legend drums were usually pretty nice, and they never caught on. Now you can pick them up for a good price.

I like the fact that he is using a vintage "Ford" yardstick to measure. (Nice touch.)
