In the mid-seventies there was a little mom and pop shop near me that had a 5 pc set of green sparle Ludwigs up on the shelf forever. I think they wanted full list on them.

When I asked about them it was likely 1975 and they wanted $750 for them without hardware.

That was a ton of money then.

That Leedy is pretty, but pricey. It's pretty mach the same drum as my Slingerland artist. Very cool.

I had one of those Pearl snares in the mid 70's. Absolutely horrible drum with very poor snare sensitivity. Stay away.
