You'd be the first one on your block to own one of those...

I may bid on it as it would make a great end table. Devilish

What are the T rods for?

It's like a 16" concert tom with legs.

Maybe so you could retune it on the field.

Check out the pushbutton adjustments on the floor tom legs. Must not have worked to well,I've never seen them before.

Very strange finish

I just bought a 6.5" Supraphonic from a local drum shop this afternoon (Saturday) for $299.99. I thought I should have at least one snare that's nor 5". I'm going to put an Evans Genera HD Dry head on it. It really needs to have the overtones controlled, to my taste anway. I'm using a Genera Dry (not HD) on my 5" Supra and it sounds good, controlled but not dead.

They had been selling these on ebay for that price, but I don't see them there now. The guy in the shop said they had 3 or 4 more, so if you're interested you might want to try the phone number at the bottom of the linked page. They're in mint condition, only slightly used and refurbished by the factory.

Note that they're upgraded to the P86 throw-off.

I got the new head on it. It makes a world of difference! The 6.5 has a fuller, more powerful sound (for lack of a better way of putting it) than the 5 inch. Still very sensitive. Love it!

You'll enjoy that Al. The 14x6.5 Supra is still a go to drum for me in a lot of situations.

Actually I've got a pinstripe on it. It's not a 'great' sound, way too dead and not all that sensitive, but for straight ahead rock n' roll, you can get that cheesy 80s rock ballad sound down easily.
