recent studies have shown that speeding and RTA's are dramatically reduceded in areas where all road signs and road markings are removed. makes people drive the road not what the road signs are telling them.

tickets f**king suck. i got pulled over at 3 in the morning by a dumbass redneck cop, that had nothing better to do than sit on the interstate at THREE in the f**king morning and give me a ticket on my way home from a gig 2 hours away.

all for a f**king crackhead guitar player, that didn't even go to work the next day, like he  "had" to. my record would have been clean last december, but not now!

your insurance doesn't go up until you get in a accident. at least mine doesn't. they dont check it until you do something wrong that costs them money.

I took my drivers test when I was 16. Within a year, I had to retest due to points on my liscense from speeding. When I was 18, I had to go to Pittsburgh (50 miles from my home) to take a written special point exam due to more points from speeding. Also they suspended my liscense for 3 months.

My insurance sky rocketed, I was put on assigned risk by the state. I was on that for like 5 years. Then I got a job as a pizza driver. Where I worked, we gave all of the police (state & local) a 50% discount on all food. I didn't ever get a ticket while I worked there. I made friends of all the cops also, so now I just get a warning when they pull me over.

I.. don't drive yet. Piss. I don't think we have cameras or anything like that, though. Generally where I come from, people tend to drive pretty decently.
