How many of you have a gig to play on New Years?  If so how much more do you get for playing that night.  We are getting a little less than double out normal pay this year.   To me it is just like playing any other night.

We're negotiating a gig for a major hotel in downtown Cincinnatti that will pay $1500 plus 2 rooms for 4 band members and a soundman. We're hoping to get it.

But DOUBLE pay is at least what should be the norm for new year's eve.

I quit this year so that I wouldn't have a gig....  Now they are tyrying to get me to fill-in f**k that....  I may go out on the road again next spring so I'm glad.
