My name is jeff.  im 17, and have no job.  I currently own a groove percussion drumset that runs for about 300 dollars new.  I also use all B8's for cymbals (in spite of my aax splash, which came as a bonus when i ordered the b8s).  My studio has 6 mics, and a cheep ass mixer.  My total cost for evertthing including the drumset, cymbals, dw7000 pedals, GP hardware, mics, cables, and mixer was close to 1500.  Out of this ghetto studio, i get sound like this.

Go figure man.  Tell me what i should tweak to make it sound more pro.

Holy moly that sounds awesome.  Ive spent well over £1k on my kit and it sounds nothing like that.  The hats sound really cool when opened slightly.

Does your snare have an oring on it?  Its got to much ring on it for my personal preference.
