This is my playing I recorded in my studio. I hope you all like it. The music is from John Riley's "the art of be bop drumming" I recorded the song that didn't have drums and added my own drum track to it.

The 3/4 solo I play the hi hat foot on the 2. Occasionally it wonders a little.

6 over 4 polyrhythm. I play the hi hat foot 6 notes and the bassdrum foot 4 notes. I solo on top of that. It's a little sloppy because of coordination challenges. I've only been working on it for a few days now.

Hope you all like it.

I do have photos. But the avatar section won't let me do it.

I love your Pearl kit. Does the wood hoops affect the overall sound of the snare? I bet the cross stick is killer!!

load them up in the 'my kit' section

thanks  and yes the 19 ply wood hoops give it a great 'natural' sounding rim shot, and your right the cross stick is really clear.

I played with a few of these when I was in high school..  It was interesting to do.  It is a very good learning tool.
