Since last time I've visited this forum a lot has changed, I used to play with a blues band but last August we split up and the singer and myself have reformed a band that is now more of a country and classic rock type band. Since then we've been very fortunate and gotten lucky enough to have a song in regular rotation on a local radio staion and get some great gigs. We play out at least one night each weekend and a lot of weekends we play Fridays and Saturdays and even some weeknights.
This past weekend though will be tough to beat for us. We opened a show for a national act(Josh Thompson) for the first time. A lot of people don't know he is yet but around here he has a huge following and he is in the top 40 in the country charts. We had a great crowd of about 800 people and we had probably 200-250 of our fans in the crowd wearing our band t-shirts.
I'm telling you it was amazing the crowd was great, I can't explain how awesome it was. I consider myself very much a beginner so this was huge for me.

Anyway just thought I would share with you guys.

Several years ago I was lucky enough to gig a lot, I miss those days. Enjoy every moment.

If your band has a website or link feel free to share it with us.
