Mix and match is what we SHOULD be doing...  Locking into one brand or one model will limit the availability of sounds on your palet.

Mixing cymbals is actually a good way to broaden your sounds... you can mix and match different series for different styles or even just for different tones and volumes in a song. I'd say the bigger selection you have on set the better sounds and the better music you'll be able to make. So most definitely dude.... mix those cymbals.   later
