Manu Katche Snare - Deal for Drum World Family

I have a Yamaha Manu Katche Black Brass snare that I am going to sell. I picked it up it a while ago from ebay for about $300 including shipping. I got it to replace the Black Beauty that was stolen from me years ago.

While it's and excellent drum, with great projection and responsiveness, I'm an old dog looking for the sound I had for so long. So I have decided to go for the $$$ and pick up a Black Beauty.

Please let me know if any of you in the D-W 'family' are interested. I will pass the same deal on if you want it - $300 including shipping. Other then a scuff on the bottom die cast hoop I believe it's pretty mint. I replaced the stock heads and snares with Purecussion and Remo (to is as coated CS, with dot underneath).

I will hold it for a bit before putting it up for auction.

That is a great drum Gene. I hope someone here jumps on it.

A great drum, and a very fair price.

Gene, is that the 5-1/2" or 6-1/2" deep Manu? I had the 6-1/2x14, but I sold it off a few years ago to finance my first 602 ride.

I wish I could take the drum off your hands, but unless I get a ton of gigs and/or students dropped in my lap in the immediate future, I don't think I can swing the coin. Upset

James, Its the 5-1/2.

I'm not concerned about selling the drum. I just got what I felt was a good deal and I wanted to pass it on.

It looks like this thread is cold. I guess I'll put the drum up for auction this weekend.

If anyone changes their mind let me know.

I just joined... if you still have the Manu drum, I would be interested? Thanks,

As I was reading through this thread, I was wondering where all these "new" guys were coming from. Then I noticed this thread is over a year old.

Yeah, Marty, good to have you on board. Stop by the Introductions section and tell us a little about yourself. Location, musical preferences, gear, etc. There's a wide range of cool drummers here. And it's a friendly bunch.
