Nope,

I picked up a set of "new old stock" 13" for $319. I pretty much tripped over them in a shop.

I know how much you wanted the thirteens. If you want, I'll sell you the 13" set for what I paid and I'll get the 14"s.

I would not ask you to do that if you really wanted the 13s. If you don't have a strong preference I would be thrilled to take you up on this..

Gene,

I sent you an e-mail.

Dennis,

Yes Bosphorus cymbals make me droll as well.

Mike - I always thought you were rather droll, byt I didn't know it was Bosphorus cymbals that made you that way. ;-)

I just love to beat on stuff with sticks!

HA!

Yeah, that's why...

Pleased

The 13" Leedy tom finally got here today. It's in good condition, but not as perfect as the rest of the kit. The chrome is great, the bearing edges are good, the finish is in overall good shape. The finish is just a little darker than the rest of the kit. It's not a huge difference, but there is a difference. The rest of the kit was made in 1964 and probably spent the last forty-five years in cases, this tom was made in 1958.

I'm going to order the rims mount for this one and I think it will look fine with the rest of the kit.

I just dusted off this 551 day old thread because I bought this...

That was a MUST BUY... and you'll have no problem finding the spot for a 'felt strip if you go that way!

Take a look at the batter head, you can see where the previous owner had it.

I could not pass this up at that price.
I can't wait to get this kit set up again. Leedy wasn't a brand that I longed for, but now that I own a set I really appreciate what a quality kit it is.
