If anyone here who plays rock, metal, thrash metal, (pretty much anything) ever plays in a London venue let me know, and I will come down to see!

Don't make your choices for your band - if you get your education sorted, then you will always have that.

But if you happen to all go to the same uni, and they do the degree you want - why argue with fate

The nice thing is - now I have my degree I can do what I want...and if I fall flat then I can get a control engineering job instead

Actually - I am building up my band AND working as a control engineer...so I get the money and to play drums sh*t loads!

All my favorite things. I love writing control systems!

Being a struggling professional musician seems to be identicle to being a student...combine the two and halve your supernoodle phase

Hmmm...I love pot noodle too mate. My special spicy curry is famous (just a little bit of real mango chutney, some chillis and some chopped banana...mmmm).

Mind you, in uni I lived on plaoin pasta (with just a touch of butter) and plain rice (just rice ) because that is all I could be bothered to cook
