I have a K Custom Ride. That is the only marking on it which I believe makes it a K Custom Medium.

It's a wonderful cymbal, I love it and Dennis loves it as well. I lend him different rides, hats and crashes to try on a regular basis. That ride has been with him for a month or two and he decided that he really wanted to get one to replace his K Custom Hybrid ride.

I really like his Hybrid ride, but not enough to give up that great K Custom Medium.

So...

Dennis found a K Custom just like mine on line, I bought it and am going to trade that one for his Hybrid. Now I'll have two different K Custom rides, depending on my mood. (The Hybrid has the "bell from hell", which has it's place.)

Everyone ends up happy.

Pleased

My selection of rides is pretty deep now.

When the weather is nice I'm going to see if I can enlist Dennis to help me set up all of the cymbals for another group photo.

I'm not sure where I can set them all up though. I have to think about that.

I want to take a complete inventory as well.

The new K Custom ride came in the other day and I drove out to Dennis' house to make the trade and hang out.

We A-B'd the two rides and his is a slightly higher pitch. The hammering was slightly different when we looked real closely at them.

I also got to spend some seat time behind his new Ludwig Classic Maples. It's the first time I've played them since the day he brought them home. We were laghing about our difference in tuning. He tunes his toms a little higher than I and his bass a little lower. We set up our snares very similarly.

The whate marine pearl finish was a great choice for this kit.

My K Custom Hybrid is now home. Cool Dude
