...had a health scare with my wife for a while. Everything is okay now.
Been really absorbed with school...been a tough semester. I only earned: B - Telecommunications C - Introduction to Business I - COBOL II (I = incomplete) F - Systems Engineering
I'll retake Systems Engineering & COBOL this Fall. If I pass COBOL II this time, I can get the "I" eliminated from my transcript (with whatever grade I earn).
Despite the grades, I made a 4.0 during my Freshman year, got an invitation to join a Freshman Honor Society, and am now a member of Phi Eta Sigma! Yeah, I know...so what, but my Mom is proud of her li'l drummer boy...for a change.
I quit "Never Say Die" to concentrate on college. The other guys understand, but still think it sucks! At least they said how much they appeciated that I told them to their faces instead of "phoned them" or just left a note.
This Summer I'm taking: *U.S. History from 1865 to Present *Music Appreciation
...went on vacation to New York state (West Point, Orange County Choppers, Binghamton) for three weeks. Took my laptop, but all the motels only offer wi-fi hookup...and I'm not wi-fi!!
...got a cracked windshield and a flat tire while driving thru Ohio! Nobody hurt, I'm just out about three hundred dollars I wished I didn't have to spend.
...my younger son (the 24 year old) got fired from WalMart, put all his stuff in storage, then joined a travelling carnival. No lie!
...had a health issue myself. I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to avacados (ate some guacamole dip). It was worth a trip to the emergency ward, two needles in the ass, and a cute nurse. I'm okay now.
...traded in my 1988 Harley Sportster for a 2001 Dyna Glide Sport-T. If you're not familiar with Harleys, that's a li'l bike for a big bike!
...I really miss my extended cyber family, ya know!?
That's about it for now! Guess I'll cruise around the forums and see where I can put in my two cents worth.
