I thought I'd give the listen section a much needed new thread. Probably at my dignity's expense but theres not much of that left anyway. Cool Dude

sunday morning computer fire is my moniker as an electronic artist. I know, there is some real percussion travesty in my music but I like it. This was my answer to dead end bands that wasted my time. I made my own band. Some tracks are sample based (I sampled parts, chopped them and layered them until a song happened) and some are composed one note at a time by hand on a piano roll. The ones that are posted now are all sample based except myuncleusedtolovemebuthedied. I only have two songs that have real recordings of me playing and neither of those are posted. These songs are made entirely on the computer.

Let me know what you guys think. If you don't like it that's fine but I would really like to know why. If you've never heard much lo-fi hip hop or IDM electronica you might have to open your ears and mind a little to enjoy it.

Thanks a lot to everyone that listens. Cool DudeCool Dude

I didn't expect anyone here to really enjoy my tunes, I just like getting feedback, good or bad.

Thanks for listening Ron.

Interesting,fresh,original,different..it's not fair for me to judge the hip hop element as I don't appreciate most of the style.. Sounds like a competent production for just you and a computer..

Those are very good adjectives in my opinion, thanks a lot for your time and comments Pat. I'm glad you could listen past the genre and hear the music. Most of my tunes are the way they are for a reason. I leave things simple sometimes in hopes people will listen to the production or composition and sometimes I try to mask that stuff and make a song that people just hear as a song.

Thanks a lot Hutch. I appreciate it. I try to create a atmosphere with each song. A lot of times it ends up being dark or depressing but thats just how my brain is wired. I quit trying to change that a long time ago. Devilish

My name is John BTW.

Not my cup off tea - reason is that that type of music doesn't interest me.

I'm not saying its bad though, I must admit you've done a good job making them at home on your computer!Pleased
