Here is a clip of one of the least known Jeff Beck Group lineups. I've never seen this before.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb5GagBpA5s&feature=related

I was already a huge JB fan by this point.

I'm thinking that I can name the whole band off the top of my head.

Max Middleton on piano

Benmont Tench on lead vocals

Clive Chaman on bass

Cozy Powell behind the Ludwigs

And of course Mr Beck playing the Strat with the broken pickguard.

Not the most polished performance, but a great little lost clip.

I was thirteen when this came out and I had a paper route. I bought this album in a store called "Rags N' Records" with my own money. The store sold cool clothes, records, posters and paraphenalia which they kept under the counter. (So I heard...)

I remember walking there with my buddy jim Feeney. I bought this album and he bought Mott the Hoople - All the young dudes.

It's amazing the little details that I can remember from 38 years ago.

Anyway, those guys were amazing and definitely colored my idea of what a band could be.
