I use to play his sticks, Regal Tip Jake Hanna model. My dad knew him too. Good drummer.Upset

I had no choice, my dad gave me his used sticks which were like new, seeing as he played an 18" bass drum with 12" tom and 14" floor three 20" K rides and never hit rim shots.

They were nice sticks. I only went away from them because I really preferred wood tips.

He was a REALLY nice player. I often watched the Merv Griffin show just to hear him.

I couldn't really see, but I think that's the late Nick Ceroli (another fine drummer worth checking out!) in that clip from Merv's show.
