whats the best range of istanbul cymbals!! i'm going to turkey in the summer, thought i might be able to get them cheap!!

i'm a jazz, funk, indie, drummer!!  -- i dont go in for thrashing seven shades of sh*t out of my kit or cymbals!!

And be careful with customs coming back...it is hard to hide a complete cymbal pack

Could be worth a check before you head out...I can't remember exactly what you would be due for, but I think there is inport duty and VAT. Shame that Turkey wasn't in the EU - free movement of good means no import duties

Phone your customs and exise office (number should be in the book), and they should tell you what you are due for, and at what rate.

May still be worthwhile, just make sure you factor these things in when comparing prices.

Also, you may also get stuck for similar duties if you import that Ayotte drum set. Bloody taxes eh?
