If you don't get what I'm saying, I took my rack tom off, i took the cymbal arm of from the cymbal stand and put it in the hole where the mount for the rack tom goes.

Is that a good idea?Pleased

Shazib, I don't see any problems with putting the crash/ride mounted from the bass, but I'd rather have it boomed in on a cymbal stand to be honest.

Can you get more pictures of your setup to see how it is now?

You didn't have to start a whole new thread to say this. You're cluttering up the site. You could have added this to the thread on pictures of your kit. - Al

Shazib - It occurred to me that maybe you need a definition of a thread. - A thread is a series of posts to an internet forum that are related to the same topic. - As long as you are talking about the same general topic, you shouldn't start a new thread. It makes a cluttered mess of the forum. It will also stretch the patience of forum members and make them unhappy with you. As Rich has said, that could end up getting you banned from the site. You seem to be a nice kid. I wouldn't want to see that. - Al
