Mike - I hope you're right, but I googled "Paiste 602 cymbals NAMM" and found the same rumor being circulated in 2006. Read the third posting by nickg.

Mike was right! I was just reading the new "Hall of Fame" special issue of Drum. On page 4 is a full page shot of a brand new Paiste 602 medium ride. At the bottom of page 20, there's a short blurb about the reintroduction. Too bad for all those people that have paid ridiculous prices on eBay.
