| That's funny...my 2-1/2 year old can turn the computer on, find the Icon for his game and start playing ..I can figure a lot out ..but kids like Josh were born with a mouse in their hands

| It's a nice kit. I've only been playing for about 10 months, myself. But I'd set it up however feels comfortable to you. The problem I have/had with the mounted toms is that I'm very small (5'1") and have to have them mounted so I can reach them easily, so my setup doesn't look great to everyone I'm sure. Set everything up so that it works the best for YOU. However, I would say that it looks like the mounted toms are touching your bass, if so, they shouldn't be actually on the bass, for sound, and to avoid scratching up your bass.
In fact I just have one mounted tom right now, and to be honest I still rarely use it, I feel like it's best to learn the rest of the kit first, but could be that's just me.
