I meant drink as a lot. I understand hoe people drink a beer or two to relax that doesnt count. My mom does that it is drinking. What I should have said is how often do you get a buzz or drunk?

I don't play a lot of gigs at all. I've just got a band back up and going so I've not had a gig in about a year or more. I've never drank if I'm playing a gig. When I said parties or gigs, I meant only gigs that I go to watch the bands. Even at that, I don't drink at all of them and I don't drink lots. Josh Drum Fund = Ł1000

I generally only drink on the weekends - sometimes one or two and sometimes a few more - fuck yeah!'

My father has been an alcoholic for about 30 years and there is a strong history of alcoholism in his side of the family.
Besides that, by the time I get home from work and play with the kids followed by the dinner/bathtime thing and getting them in bed. I'm pretty much ready for a cup of tea Pleased

Yeah same luke my grand father died of kidney failure and my two uncles are alcholics, but they are both sober now thank god!!!. but my dad can control himself so idk. Some people say it is passed down through generations. Idk about my tolerance (since I have never drank before) but I hope i can control myself.

i go to parties at least every weekend, and i get either buzzed or drunk off my ass. but i only go to parties with jay. i wont go alone with any of my friends, i dont want them to leave me behind or help get me into a bad situation. jay just sits with me and we chill. thats the area where i hate my friends. they goof off too much

I hung up my drinking glasses about 5 years ago. It was begining to cause trouble in my life. It is nice to leave a bar after playing a gig completly sober and hoping the cops pull me over! I am a Weekend Warrior www.theauthorities.net \m/ -_- \m/

it's a satisfaction thing. It's a good feeling to know that YOU are in control, not alcohol. You can't really know how good it feels to resist temptation unless you've been on the addiction side of it. Lee
