Not totally sure. I'm 20 and I've been playing for as long as I can remember. I'd say 13 years at least. And I'm still a beginner. Member since at least October 2005!

At least 3 times as long as you've been alive..a better question is. How many years of playing did it take to loose stage fright and feel comfortable playing in front of anyone. 4 months and still going strong. Ive noticed how much better I have actually gotten in that small amount of time. I just love that feeling. Matt the happy cow.
