Thanks Mike, I appreciate it.

My beautiful new Saturn pro arrived yesterday. Problem is the seller had somehow lost the 10" tomArgh! So now it's a 1 up 1 down set up until I can find a 10" tom in violet stardust. The ocdp snare i got with the kit is lovely, trick throw-off, old style tube lugs, turqoise sparkle and 4 ventsPleasedPleased Does anyone have an old 10" tom for a saturn pro in violet stardust floating around?DevilishIt's not fair...

No, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Pleased

That's a really nice kit without the tom. I just got a Mapex Fat Cat snare this past weekend. It's a really nice sounding drum.

A lot of people (on here and elsewhere) consider the Saturns to be the best they make. The Orions seem to be about "bling" to me anyway.

You did good.

thanksPleasedIll tell my drum teacher that! He's got a set that he loves!
I suppose having one less tom for a while could help improve my creativity?Confused

My dad has contacted a drum shop nearby and they can make me a new tom in the right colour now we just need to find out the damage

Yes just because something is dearer doesn't mean its better.
The Orion and the Pro M have the same shells with the Orion having theburl maple outer veneers. As Mike said the Orion is more about the bling

Thanks Luke, that's what I was trying to say. I just wasn't saying it well.
