Whussup!
Just found this site and am glad i did.
Been a tub basher for many years and love to
talk to other drummers about playing styles, equipment and others. Hope to learn as well as participate.
I've had just about every brand of drum and hardware on the market but am currently using Pacific as my main set. I've found no better kit for the money, although i go out and test stuff nearly every chance i get.
Anyway, glad to be here
Cheers
TP

Welcome to the site Tripower. (Are you a GTO guy?)

You'll find a lot of good, helpful people on here. The PDPs are nice drums.

Good to have you here TP.

What kind of music do you like to listen to/play to?

thanks for the welcome, guys.
i would say i like any kind of music
as long as it's good.
as far as influences; the usual rock legends Bonham, Baker, Moon, Peart, etc., but if i had to compare my style to someone, it might be Simon Kirke or Phil Rudd. i've pretty much made a career of staying in the pocket and emphasizing the downbeat. i'm not ashamed to admit that and a testament from some of the cats i've played with that appreciated it. currently i'm in a group called TriPower (hence the handle)and you can guess from the name that we are a 3 piece. we do a mix of original and cover music with our own spin. we have a MySpace page if you want to check us out.
and no, i'm not really in GTO's, but i appreciate classic cars.
