I can't agree more.

There is room in the drum kingdom for the old school and the new guard in my opinion though.

I personally consider Buddy to be the gold standard.

I saw Buddy live numerous times it was always a great jaw dropping show. It was fun to watch him set the tempo on the hat while he would shout out a number for the next tune and then watch the band scramble to find the chart.
