Hello my name is George and I come from Scotland. I play Pipe Band and Kit drumming. I play a Pearl limited edition 7 piece kit in Mahogany fade on a Gibralta rack, paiste 2002 soundedge hi-hats and Sabian cymbals and all miked up with SM57's and the AKG egg bassdrum mike. My main passion is Pipe Band Drumming and I have played to grade 1 standard. I hope to swap some tips and ofcourse learn as well.

Hi there George. We have a few Scottish lads on here. Actually, we currently have regulars from England, Australia, Scotland, Canada, the United States and even Russia. So, welcome.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Are most people on here Pro, Semi-pro or play for the hell of it?

Oh by the way, how do I upload my photo as an avatar? The photo I want to use is in "My Pictures" but how do I get it?

George,

We have everything from 15 year old students to full on pros with endorsement deals. Many of us are "semi-pro" or have been in the past. What we all have in common is a love of all things drums and a real respect for each other. This is clearly a place to park any egos at the door.

You'll find a lot of good info on here and hopefully have fun in the process.
