| Greetings and salutations. My name is Leon and Im from a wayward country called New Zealand. I play the drums butt not like anyone round here. Ive had my kit now for 12 years, I started with a pearl centenial series Export in ocean blue. but it has grown some what in many a direction to resemble nothing of its original status. Organis as my kit is now called has moved on to its latest cycle ov life. axis double on th orig 22 Pearl bass drum, A gibralter 2 long curve rack,a Yamaha 5 lug 8 inch in th middle, a 13" tama piccallo snare, 13" sabian hats on the left 14" paiste Alpha hats on th right, a 16" floor tom on each side. It is set up perfect mirror styles so it can be played left hand or right. There are two 18" Zildjian crashes above th hats a china on each side up high, th ride is on th left and a dirty double cut down set ov old chinas on th right. and some splashes treeing up th middle. A few months ago (Nov 07) I had a knee accident and couldnt use my right knee at all so had to learn to play left foot lead. I can now use the right butt had so much interesting learning fun learnin left that i have been teaching my self to play left handed. I just Immotate my right, a great challenge for one self. a lot ov discipline involved. Any hows I forgot I am 29 years ov the ageing process and have a son named Casper he loves to play drums to! I guess you all can call me Leon or Von dont mind either. Might put a pic up once i can work out how. Slam on... | | Message posted 242 days ago | IP Logged |

| Hi Leon,
That sounds like a great kit. Due to injuries I've messed around with doing thing differently from time to time as well. It's amazing what it does for your independence.
I hope you'll join us regularly.
