I had my first lesson today, it went well.

I'm going to head upstairs to the congas to practice what I've learned a bit while it is fresh in my head.

Those are nice drums Mike. I had the same congas at school and have used the bongos many times.

Certainly more 'authentic' congas than the Slingys.

I think you'll have lots of fun with them!

Thanks guys.

It's the start of a different musical journey for me. I think it is going to be fun. I find them very relaxing to play, even though right now I am working on very basic skills.

Lesson two in about 40 minutes.

Quite well Al. I find myself playing them quite a bit and I'm starting to get comfortable with it.

I just seem to gravitate to them to relax, it's hard to explain.

Thanks for asking Al.

The bongo stand came in yesterday. Pleased
