EVANS COATED G2 OR REMO COATED EMPORER for any drum snare or toms. WHAT DO YOU GUY'S THINK? I tried a EvansRevearse Dot on a studio snare (Pearl Metal) that looked like it was run over by a tank ,the lugs were even bent (you know the conditions of rehearsal studios kits) and the snare sounded really good. Even the band said it had a nice crack to it.

I like Evans on my birch kit. Coated or clear G2s should sound great. Reverse dot on the snare, Gmad on the bass. Gene
