Ok, dont be shy, answer the question if it includes you!  How many of us out of interest here play guitar?  I'm thinking of duplicating DrumWorld2 (membership system will span both sites) to a guitar one as well.  A kind of sister site.  Would there be much interest?  Or are there already millions of community sites for guitars.

I play giutar, but mostly for writing purposes. My 15 year old son plays very well, he's always looking for a good forum to go to.

I can restring and tune a guitar, but can't play sh*t on one, so you won't find ME on "guitar world"

I wouldn't post, although I am a little bassist (although out of practice).

yes - a one handed bassist...was drummer first and found that people like a bass player who understands rhythm!

Start them - it is a question of duplicating the code! You could sort of pick a select group of guitarists and bassists to administer/moderate for you.

We all found drum world ourselves - why wouldn't they find bass/guitar world! Who needs us?

I played a rented acoustic for awhile. Took lessons.. yadda yadda.. I remember three chords and I can play some random little ditties. If you made it, though, I'd probably tell my many guitar playing friends about it. I almost had one of them post here. lol She went through the forums and found a couple of my comments. I think she got scared, though.
