Well, we look forward to seeing you some day. And we each have our vices.

The amount of money I've spent on movies over the years (seeing in theaters and buying copies) is ridiculous.

My girlfriend is very supportive of my drum-gear obsession. (She rarely rolls her eyes.)

My oldest brother is a serious movie collector. That can get pretty pricey as well.

I post to 11,000!

Ah, I don't so much collect them as a collector, but I have a very healthy movie obsession. I think I took one too many film classes in college.

Its very nice to have significant others that are supportive of your hobbies. ^_^ I'm lucky, me and my fiance are both gamers, so we get to share our hobby (and only have to buy games once).

Yay one more post! Do it!!

Haha, of course! You helped me. ^_^

Anybody want a Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz Copper Sparkle kit? ^_^

We have one up for $519. Its used, but its mint condition. And I MEAN mint. Like, unbelievably so.

I doubt anyone's searching for one right now, but if you are, have at! My udu drum wall has been replaced with a Gretsch Copper Sparkle wall. Drums...everywhere...

And for you high rolling Artisan fans, we have just posted 5 out of only 6 ever made Artisan sets. The sixth one belongs to the boss man. ^_^

We can't get them until May 1st, but I figure I'll let you guys know. In case any of you have some extra cash burning a hole in your pocket and want a limited edition set.

Later!

Heya gang! Long time no see. We've been sort of swamped here at Greenbrier, inventory time and we've been working our way through our ebay store cleaning things up. Our official website is also under construction and we're trying to get it completely re-done and working.

Figured I'd pop by though and see what everyone was up to, and if anyone was looking for any items. We've been cutting some majorly good deals lately, because we're moving our physical store in August and the boss man is trying to get rid of a lot of the stock.

If you don't want to ask me for a discount, you can always check out our ebay 'Blowout' section, where we usually put up auctions, mint condition cymbals (no warranty and have been hanging up on our wall, but are otherwise brand new condition right out of the box), used stuff, and other random deals.

As always if you see anything on the store and want a special Drum World only price quote, just let me know!

Sorry I haven't been around and active what with all the chaos at work! ^_^

No problem. ^_^ I've been given the job of posting most of our current auctions and mint condition listings, so I get the fun job of scouring ebay for the cheapest price and trying to undercut it if possible.

Doesn't always work, but oh well.

We just got in two really high price items. A titanium snare from Ludwig that is a few grand, and a Gretsch USA Custom 3 pc in Caribbean Blue (one of the prettiest kits I've seen come through the store).

Should have listings for those up in the next couple of days.

Hehe, sure thing. ^_^ We haven't actually set the Caribbean Blue up for a picture session yet, since we don't have the nice camera in the store today (just an Iphone). So you'll have to deal with my terrible photography using an Iphone...~_~ Sorry bout that. We just used some stock photos when we made the ebay listing for the kit, since its easier and looks better than our photos.

Also, on a side note, does anyone here collect/refurbish vintage drums? We had a 7 pc set of miscellaneous Ruby Sparkle vintage drums come in on a trade in, and we're trying to get rid of them. At least one Rogers Tower tom, and one Pearl, but the others don't have badges or anything to tell us what they are. They all need new heads, some new hoops, they have holes drilled in them, some are missing mounts, most are missing rods, and they're all worn and a bit on the banged up side. But we also have a small box full of vintage rods, lugs, screws, etc. that came with the kit. Not really enough for a full set of any one thing, but enough to help a bit. ^_^

If anyone's interested I can get you a more detailed breakdown of ye olde drumkit. Boss isn't looking for much on it, pretty much just wants it gone.

Ye olde drum kit is gone. ^_^ Craiglist does wonders.

It figures, I was just looking for your phone number...

Oh well, I was only interested in it for parts anyway.

I'm the self admitted vintage drum geek on here Katie if anything of that nature pops up again.

Thanks for giving us a shot at it, sorry I moved slow.
