It was a great clinic.

Mark Schulman has great chops, but more importantly (to me) he is a hell of a nice guy. Don't miss him if he comes to your area!

I met Katie, Greenbrier is a nuthouse. (In a good way!) Katie, Stephen and Frankie made me feel very welcome.

Thanks for inviting me down.

^_^ You know you're always welcome! I wish you were in today. The weather is so cool and beautiful down here today.

Which is a nice change of pace from the warehouse's usual status of gross and muggy.

Here are some pictures...

Katie joined the "I met Mike club".

Mark Schulman rocking!

He is pretty much a wildman behind the kit.

And a nice guy...

Cool pics! I love the one of us with Mark lurking in the background with his tic tacs. ^_^

Hey look, selling that kit Mark played on.

In hindsight, woulda been cool if we'd thought to ask him to sign it somewhere. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20.

Got a pair of old Zildjian hihats the boss man wants to sell.

We got them from a fellow music store owner in the area. He said they're from 1958. I took some pictures of the logos (no serial numbers on them so we're not sure what to identify them as), and pics of the front and back of each cymbal.

I think boss man said he'd hope to get about $270 out of these, but I could get them to any of you guys for $250 including shipping.

Let me know if you're interested!

I have a set of hats exactly like those. (Mine are early sixties.)

That's a decent price for some nice hats.

I wish we knew more about them...I could never be a good cymbal collector. It drives me NUTS not knowing exactly the year and model number etc. of stuff. ^_~

The stamp looks alot like the stamps on my old Zildjian metal (that belonged to my grandfather).

Not sure if they have the "Made in USA" bit though. I'd have to check.

They were my grandfathers gigging cymbals through the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Gah!! >_< Insane work lately!!

Anyway, we're doing a few random .99c auctions if anyone wants to check em out. Couple of old cymbals.

Anyone every play a 'Krut' cymbal? Anyway, we have one of those thrown up as an auction.

Sorry I haven't been around as much. ^_^ Busy busy busy...
