| Thanks, guys!
We set up under a canopy on a small concrete slab only slightly wider than the drum kit, with the bassist and guitarist sitting in front of me. The vocal mic was picking up the drums and causing too much reverb in my in-ear monitors. boom-BOOM tat-TAT! It was impossible to use them so I had to play open-ear, which I really don't like to do. The first couple of songs were shaky. Then I settled down and we were fine.
The drummer that I replaced in the band was at the party and wanted to play Cold Shot. No big deal, I let him have at it and got to sit back and hear the band through the PA! Phil | | Message posted 762 days ago | IP Logged |

| Thanks, Lee!
In the three years that I've been with the band, we probably have about a dozen gigs under our belts. This year looks like we'll be working every week-end.

| Even though I play every weekend it's not the same as giging out in the wild unknown.
