Awesome! I've baan jamming with some of their albums lately. I guy at my school has a big metal kit I can play and it's fun for a change.

They're Yamaha Maple Custom Absolutes 8/10/12/14/15/20 in cherry red, with a iron cobra double kick, a 22" K medium ride and a crapload of paiste splashes and crashes (and 2 wuhan chinas).

Although I'd take my kit any day.Pleased

15" floors and 20" kicks is NOT a metal kit...

And I'm with Gene on this one I could NEVER pick a favorite record, drummer or band... To many variables...

Fave album is pretty hard. Two way tie between Words and Pictures by Dreamtheater and Boner by the Melvins.

Metal kits are all about how they sound. This kit sounds massive...

Also, I don't necessarily think of a metal kit as having big drums, just lots of them.

When I picture a metal kit, I picture 24" kicks (two of em') and 6 toms. And chinas.

Ah yes, that is a cool album. Musically its a bit over done for my liking, but the whole concept is really cool...
