Hey Lee, you took one of the two Steely Dan Albums I was thinking of today. I'll throw in the other - The Royal Scam.

On the Jazz side... Chick Corea - Friends - Joe Farrell was a melody waiting to happen (R.I.P.). Steve Gadd never sounded better, and Eddie Gomez, the name says it all.

I actually know Bruce.... I see him from time to time at open mic nights around town and he's always playing on the weekends somewhere... GREAT BLUES player...

and Steely Dan is always at the top of my list. How about Montrose "Montrose" for rock and Buddy Rich "The Monster" for Jazz?
