For those of you looking for a good double pedal at an affordable price, I played the single version of this pedal last night and loved it. Smooth, responsive, excellent balance.

Oops - I forgot that I had posted this advertisement.

I've actually pulled the pedal off of the market, since I was able to sell some of the other items I'd put up for sale at the same time (a few cymbals, that SlingerYo snare drum, etc.), and May is turning into a good month for gigs - so both situations have diminished the need to sell other gear.

Generally, tho - just for the sake of discussion - I'd agree with Gene's assessment of this pedal. It's not as smooth as my (single) Yamaha Flying Dragon, but after tweaking the settings a little bit, I'm really starting to like the Mapex. (Keep in mind that I'm not doing any heavy double-bass work on gigs - I picked up the pedal mainly so I could be better at double-bass for teaching drum lessons.)

Apologies to everyone for my failing to update this ad when I decided not to sell the pedal.
