Good deal Matt. Your cymbal setup has come a long way.

Shame on your salesman for not pointing it out to you sooner though.

Matt - Use some of that Christmas money to buy a stand for the new cymbal before the money disappears.

how does something like this look?

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ta...chment-449107-i1140967.gc

I am trying to put this cymbal between my hat and hi tom move my 16 crash in the middle of the hi and mid tom and I have my ride and 19" crash to the right of my mid tom..... Im gonna go to the store and see how they have there kits arranged because as of right now I dont want to buy another stand because once I have 3 crashes a ride and a china Im thinking of getting a curved rack for about 275 that could keep all my stuff neat instead of having 4 stands.....

I don't have experience with them, but some people think that racks are a pain. What do the rest of you think?

I'm old school, I like stands.

I'm currently using six cymbal, or combination cymbal/tom stands.

When you factor in two snare stands and the hi-hat, I have nine stands set up.

I have two toms and a cymbal on one stand, a ride, splash and china on another and I have one cymbal on another stand. It would take me twice as long to set up a rack.

I think there are pro's and cons, but for me the cons outweigh the pros.

hahah I'll go to guitarcenter tomorrow with intentions of not buying anything but just looking at their set-ups and what I feel more comfortable with. And ill also talk to them about this rebate and why I wasn't told about this when I bought the cymbal....Angry
