Thoughts please on my first drum rack .... Pearl #DR-501 $169.99 at GC with 2 clamps.

Good starter rack ??

It looks OK to me, but I never had a rack, so I can't tell you much. You must have a floor tom, right? Otherwise, you'd definately want an extension to be able to mount any other toms you might have.

Do you plan to mount cymbal arms on it as well? If so you'll need clamps for that too.

i played one of those once. kind of sounds like a muted triangle.

on another "beat"-lame, i know...Jake....you are still interested in the icon rack, correct?

Don't waster the money, get the DR-503, it's much more worth the money.....
