Hey. I am new here but been playing for 2 years and my first set was a TJ Percussion kit. I loved it and now I have a PDP kit. Hi all and I have a vintage ludwig floor tom that gives an old school 80s flair to my drum kit. Pleased

I took the liberty of giving it it's own thread.

Hi Eric, welcome to the party. What part of the planet are you from? What kind of music are you into? Tell us more about your kit. (Number of pieces, finish, cymbals, hardware...)

Hi there Eric...
I'm Matt and have been playing for just over 2 yrs as well...
Unfortunately I have no kit right now, and I can't play anyway but I'm still practicing Argh!

Anyway I'm 16, and from pennsylvania and like alternative, hardcore, and metal... But I do always love a great acoustic song

Oh and welcome!!
You'll have a great time here

I hope you are practicing with one arm and your feet Matt...

And you will have a kit again Saturday around 11:00 AM.

Matt deserves our deepest sympathy! He'll have a new kit and won't be able to really cut loose on it. But tough it out Matt! Wait until the doctor says it's okay! Stick to your rehab plan religiously! And like Mike says, work on your feet and the other arm.

Playing one handed "lefty" would give you a huge jump toward being able to play open handed. In the long run you could use this temporary setback to substantially improve your playing.

I've always been a "glass half full" kind of guy.
