Hey fam,

My name is Mikey. I've been playing all things drums/percussion for about 14 years now. I'm really into electronic drums. Not just any old Roland or Yamaha kit... but real RET Percussion drums.

My favorite drummers currently are: Tony Royster Jr., Benny Grebb, Carter Beauford, Michael Johnston, Thomas Lang, and Art Blakey to name a few.

My style takes from just about anything I hear/practice. I mostly gravitate towards a mix of R&B, Funk, and Rock styles with a nice Fusion Jazz overtone.

My setup: RET Fusion Pro kit with a Custom Cherry finish, chrome rack, Evans heads, either the Jim Rupp Pro-mark stick or Tony Royster Vic Firth sticks, Tama Iron Cobra double kick pedal, all Smartrigger dual zone 13" crash cymbals, 13" hi-hats, 16" dual zone ride cymbal.

I mostly use EZdrummer or BFD2 VPT Systems from RET Percussion. No modules here.

Anywho, that's a little about myself.

Thanks for reading!

Hi Mikey. Welcome to the site. We are always looking for new members, but FYI we don't allow advertising of products or personal promotion of any sort. And whether it was your intention or not, you seem to be advertising the equipment that you're using.

You have an interesting concept and I really like the use of "real drums". However, I also do not like that you come in and blast the forum with what is really ads for your company.
