I just got back from the Eagles at Madison Square Garden. They are about as close to perfect live as I think a band can get. Their vocals and harmonies are amazing. Just a great show.

Life's been good to him so far...

I saw him open for Stevie Nicks a billion years ago, he was great. He played his solo stuff, a couple of Eagles tunes and even "Funk 49" from the "James Gang" days.

As for Stevie Nicks...

Normally Waddy Wachtel (her guitarist) would sing the "Tom Petty duet" with her. Apparently that night Joe Walsh decided to walk out on stage and sing that song with her and it worked really well. She acted shocked, I don't know if it was staged or not. I incidently dated a girl that was nuts about Stevie Nicks and I saw several shows on that tour and they only did that duet once that I saw.

Nice.

They are amazing musicians.

I love Hotel California's long intro guitar riff.
It's perfect.

Sounds like a good show. I had the chance to see them a couple years ago and didn't go. I regret it.

Duncan, If you get the chance, see them. I honestly cannot remember hearing a band live that is as perfect. You don't even have to like the music to be impressed by the performance.

And for the most part, I do like the music.
