| Hi All. I'm new to this so forgive me please if this topic has (no doubt) already been beat into the ground.
I'm looking for a set of E drums that can contract/are more compact; I've moved into an apartment and space is at a premium.
I've seen some top-of-the-line Rolands in action (i.e. at the V-drum comp in Denver at Rupp's a couple months ago)...While it would be cool to have a mountain-sized set I definitely don't need all the bells&whistles - or need to spend the dough.
Any recommendations out there for a relatively compact, mesh-head kit that has standard toms, cymbal #s/arrangement with a few but not overwhelming sound apps...and that runs under $1,000 (new - ebay may be a plan, though)???
Thx!

| The reason I suggested Alesis,it's the only kit in the price range that offers a mesh head that I know of. I have played them and the Alesis sound samples are very good. Billy Member since Feb. 15 2008
