If You could chose any band/artist to work for who would it be?

My first choice would be Lyle Lovett's Large Band, second choice would be Robert Earl Keene.

Probably Paul for me too. But James Taylor would be a blast, and I certainly wouldn't turn down a gig with the Buddy Rich Band, Phil Collins...

Today, the answer from me is Joni Mitchell, but the short list includes:

Joni
Peter Gabriel
James Taylor
Wayne Shorter
Willie Nelson

And on the orchestral front, I'd love to play in an ensemble conducted by Valery Gergiev.

James, looks like you took my list, and added everything that I couldn't think of at the time. Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins... while we're at it, why not reunite Genesis?

And how could I forget Joni!?

Tough question for someone as fickle as I can be, but for now:

Chick Corea
Dave Holland
Ry Cooder
Keb Mo

I left out Wayne Shorter and Joni Mitchell only because James asked first.
