So, I guess the double-pedals win by a huge margin.
I'm still looking for a "deal" on some Iron Cobras. I'm hoping to get some used ones from someone who is selling 'em. I just don't have $250 right now.
Ive got iron cobras - powerglide. awesome product, but it'd be amazing to have the real thing. I've tried double bass and it honestly feels no different than playing the double pedals, so there. The mechanism involved with the double pedals is surely better than that used in any singles., but it'd be neat having two nice and very shiny ten-lugged 22" bass drums
i use a double pedal mostly but have and am sure i will in the future use to kicks again . i generally use a single kick playing live shows because of space being an issue at most venues . and when i record generally the same reason apllies . it takes a little getting used to playing from a double pedal to 2 single kicks ,and vice versa , but hey drumming is all about challenging yourself right ?
