Hi gang.

For grins and giggles I've been digging through old threads and found my very first post.

http://drum-world.com/topic_Zi...ality-control_4899_5.html

Gene gave me my very first lesson in forum etiquutte, he told me to not open old threads and sent me over to introductions. Smile

I'm still happy spilling my opinions over these pages.

And, amazingly, I still feel the same way about buying cymbals as I did when I made that first post.

"For whatever it is worth... I have a bunch of Zildjian "A"s and 1 1940 something made in Istanbul "K". I like my Zildjians alot. ...But it does take more effort to match Zildjians up with the rest of your setup. If I don't take my Zildjians with me when I'm buying a cymbal I find I'm often disappointed when I bring it home. About ten years ago I heard a Paiste Signature 16" fast crash and fell in love with it. I've since put together a full Paiste Signature setup. As to Zildjian quality control. I've heard and bought many great Zildjians over the years but I've heard some that seemed like real turkeys. One man's opinion."

I guess I spend too much on here reading. Argh!

By the way Gene, you were very polite in how you told me not to open old threads.

Sometimes we forget that everybody is not a veteran poster and don't know any better. I've been guilty of biting people's heads off myself.
